River Loop Around Shiocton - June 13

We have had a slow start to our cycling season this year.

Larry plotted out a loop from Shiocton that would run near the Embarrass and the Wolf Rivers. It was a nice sunny day and it felt so good to be biking again.

This is the convenience store at the cross roads in Leeman. Not much else there.

After leaving Leeman we crossed the Wolf River. A week or so later the river was flooding in places.



We took our lunch break on the banks of the Embarrass River. Unfortunately we only saw the rivers when we crossed them on bridges.

We did see some turkey vultures, hawks, turkey and deer on our ride.

Ended back in Shiocton - a 38 miles loop. I loved these peonies that were in bloom in a garden there.
